Is Hardwood Flooring Right For Me?

Are you considering a hardwood floor for one of your favorite spaces?

Hardwood flooring has a lot to offer to your business or residence. If properly cared for and installed, your hardwood floors can last for the life of your home.

Our hardwood flooring experts can help you make the best selection for your unique space, while guiding you through the installation process – both vital steps towards achieving a floor you and your family will adore for decades to come.

Styling Your Hardwood Floors

From bright and airy birch to rich, dark mahogany, there are many different hardwood flooring styles to choose from.

We carry various domestic and exotic wood species, including:

In addition to the wood species, you can choose from different finishes, plank widths and lengths, textures, shines, and edge styles.

Solid vs Engineered Hardwood

Hardwood flooring choices are constantly evolving and currently there are two major families of products to choose from: solid hardwood and engineered hardwood.

Planning Your Hardwood Flooring Installation

Our team of experts is professionally trained and will install any hardwood floor that we sell, and we'll handle the project from start to finish.

When you choose to have your floors professionally installed, you’ll ensure your new flooring is protected and installed correctly the first time. Our installers will prepare your subfloor to make sure it's ready for installation by making sure it is dry, flat, and free of imperfections.

How Is Hardwood Flooring Installed?

Engineered hardwood comes in floating floors and can lock together, so no adhesives are needed. You can also nail down engineered hardwood floors. A benefit of floating floor installation is you can walk on them the same day.

Solid hardwood is glued or nailed down for a permanent install so the planks won’t  shift over time. It’s important to leave a gap between the base of the walls and the floors because hardwood naturally expands over time. Once all the planks are in place and installed, we'll check the surface to make sure there aren't any gaps between planks.
